The dismantle pages are here for your guidance only! You undertake dismantling your phone entirely at your own risk.
We can take no responsibility for any damage that may occur by improper handling.
If you are at all unsure about what you are doing, or your ability to undertake the task, please consult someone who knows exactly what they are doing.
As with any other electronic equipment, mobile or cellular phones can be easily damaged if mishandled. If you do decide to go ahead and dismantle your phone, you should observe some basic precautions: Work in a clean, dry area - do not work anywhere near water or fluids of any kind. Use the correct tools for the job (e.g.. for many phones you will require a Torx T6 screwdriver - do not attempt to use an Allen key or small screwdriver, you may get the screw out, but you will almost certainly damage the screw head). If at all possible work in an ESD secure area - as this is not possible for most people, at least take the precaution of discharging as much static current as possible (by touching the unpainted chassis of your computer for example) before commencing. Have a small box near to hand to store any small parts you remove, it's all too easy to lose a vital component or small screw. Take extreme care when separating plastic components that are clipped together, you would not believe the number of phones I have seen with broken plastic clips.
Having said all the above, take your time and you should encounter very few problems.
